What a shambles.People are not shopping in this town already as the parking charges are ridiculous and now they want to increase them again.I have already made a comment on the silly parking prices for what we have in this town. It would be cheaper to get a taxi into town than pay these prices unbelievable!!!! Thanks WDC and tories for messing up this town.




Saw this comment on the new and improved LJ web site. I wonder if the contributor are themselves a taxi driver? 


Of course there is a much better option for getting in to town for most people. Walk or cycle ! But as well all know, we have a RIGHT to DRIVE where and when we want to. Asking motorists to pay to park their chuck of rapidly depreciating metal just isn't fair is it?
